Welcome to Moon Village, a space hub on the moon housing multiple generations of scientists and engineers working on advancing spacial exploration technology to escape a dumpster-fire Earth. You are Jess, the barwoman begrudgingly tasked to run the local bar.
Using your cocktail mixing skills, charisma and ingenuity, you will build relationships with your patrons, help them make important life decisions, and even have them help you make sense of what you want for your life… all while keeping the bar from being closed by a greedy landlord and being in the center of space political turmoil.
Tequila Moonrise is a cozy retrofuturistic journey with high emotional stakes that reflects on hope despite loss and celebrates human connection.
As Jess, your goal is to not only serve customers and use the proceeds to buy new ingredients and keep the lights on. You will also create bonds that can help you discover the world around you and inspire you to reconnect with people from your life.
Each day brings a lively cast of characters as you decide between deepening conversations to get them to open up about how you can help them, or tending to the rush hour - when the bar gets busy and you are pulled into a challenging series of cocktail mixing minigames with the potential to earn generous tips as a reward, which in turn can be used to upgrade your service.
